Dawn Redwood
The Dawn Redwood from China is a fast-growing tree similar to our Tamarack. This ornamental variety behaves like a larch. The species was on the verge of extinction a few years ago. Our Forestry service aided in the effort to restore it. This will be a signature tree of the Arboretum and will be available in larger sizes in the future. |
