(picea meyeri), is native to China.
It is similar in many ways to our
country's Colorado Blue spruce. It
is a very hardy, onamental tree. |

said to be the oldest on earth, dating
back 4800 years. It is native to
small areas in the Rockys. First
planted in the Arboretum twenty years
ago, the tallest is only six feet
in height. No two have the same appearance.
This ornamental can serve in many
different settings. It will also
be one of our signature trees. |
